First impressions are lasting, and when you walk through the doors to kitestring you can only wish your office was this cool. Located on James Street South, the success of this marketing and design studio is evident in their bright, open concept workspace. The staff exude a passion for their work that is clear. There's no need for a brand overhaul for these innovators. Its the kind of place you ride your bike to and play with toys to stimulate creativity amoung your clients.
The building blocks for kitestring's success are founded strongly on the chemistry between the four young professionals. Chris Farias, the creative director and Jen Hudder, accounts director are the founders of the compnay. Brandon St. Amand, director of technology and Megan Coppolino, "Communications Rockstar" (yes, thats on her email signature) complete the other half. As the hosts of events like HYPE (Hamilton Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs) you're certain to find the crew meeting and mingling with likeminded folk at places like the Ship and Bad Dog Café.
The desks at kitestring are left clean. Minimal clutter for a fresh mind leaves room for creativity. The colours, shapes, and layout feels balanced and put together.
We were charmed that their workspace is filled with books, toys, and candy. Its fitting when your list of clients includes Nest and Citizen Kid. With an office like this, we can't imagine not wanting to go to work in the morning.
Tucked away were these beautiful storyboard paintings that Chris had created.
